[.Net] Replace Reflector: ILSpy
Personally, it allowed me to analyze the Framework code to understand some strange behavior or analyzing the code of a DLL which I do not have the source handy.
Unfortunately, for several months Reflector became chargeable. It is true that the tool is not particularly expensive (in relation to its use to me, though) but I did not appreciate the way it happened. The developer of Reflector was accustomed sentry safe to code a time bomb in its program to force users to update the software (which is already a bit limited behavior) and promised that the latest free version before making up the paid version sentry safe does not behave.
I guess he had to change because opinion is now impossible to find a free version (easily anyway). So, I started looking for a replacement tool, and it seems that many people are started on the niche.
ILSpy is open source, released under the MIT license (which basically says that we can do anything with), which ensures there will always be a free version. It supports plugins and is visually and functionally almost identical to Reflector (before it becomes payable).
